Her roles included Judy Kramer as a Fox 2005 show Point Pleasant, and Marcy playing a character on Dawson's Creek. In 2003 she portrayed Marina Cooper on the Guiding Light. This character earned her an award at the Soap Opera Digest Awards in 2003 for the Best Newcomer. Dollar was a part of ABC's Women's Murder Club as Cindy Thomas between 2007 and 2008. She starred on the 2012 NBC series pilot Happy Valley but it was not aired.
